In addition to Xpander Pak Shippers, the company has developed three additional products that combine the benefits of flexible foam with comprehensive shipping systems. The Safe-T-Shipper product line was developed
for applications that would benefit from combining the superior cushioning and thermal protection of flexible foam into other shipping methods.
Safe-T-Shipper Lite, Safe-T-Shipper Rx, Safe-T-Cooler
Safe-T-Shipper Lite Safe-T-Shipper Lite is a self-contained flexible foam shipper that uses expanded flexible foam (Xpander Pak Shippers use compressed foam) for applications that require less protection. The thickness of Safe-T-Shipper Lite is 3/8 inch thick on each side and a total thickness of ¾ inch. The exterior pouch and adhesive closure are constructed of the same materials that provide durable protection throughout the shipping cycle.
The use of thinner flexible foam allows for a cost effective package when compared to small-corrugated boxes and bubble mailers that require additional protection by wrapping the product with additional layers of bubble or thin polyethylene foam.
Safe-T-Shipper Rx
Safe-T-Shipper Rx is a self-contained flexible foam shipper that uses expanded flexible foam for products that require protection between Xpander Pak Shippers and Safe-T-Shipper Lite. The Safe-T-Shipper incorporates sidewalls that are ¾ inch thick for a < total package thickness of 1-½ inches.
Safe-T-Coolers
Safe-T-Cooler was developed for applications that need the protection provided by the Xpander Pak Rx product in a larger size container. Safe-T-Cooler incorporates the thermal and cushioning properties of fully flexible foam into a corrugated container that can be knocked down into a flat layer (similar to the way corrugated boxes are stored) until erected and used.
A protective layer of foam lines all walls of the container providing protection from excessive temperatures, shock and vibration. Safe-T-Cooler was developed as a cost effective alternative to EPS, expanded polystyrene, coolers or lined boxes.
The benefits of Safe-T-Cooler are listed below.
1.) Safe-T-Cooler insulates more efficiently than styrene coolers, generally 8 -12%.
2.) Safe-T-Cooler can be shipped in box form or flat packed which reduces storage spaceup to 70%.
3.) Safe-T-Cooler is constructed with the same quality foam that is used for shipping pharmaceuticals.
4.) Safe-T-Cooler generally provides enough protection to ship 2nd day opposed to overnight with styrene coolers.
5.) Safe-T-Coolers are available in white or natural tan exteriors.
6.) Safe-T-Coolers are available in plain or custom printed designs.
Xpander Pak has its own manufacturing facility, which can provide additional modifications to the existing product line and we also offer custom printed options.
