International Foam Packaging is a full line manufacturer of flexible foam packaging materials.
The company was built around the Xpander Pak Shipper that provides a custom package with thick foam
walls that surround the product during the shipping cycle.

Construction of the original shipper was based on 1 3/8” flexible foam walls that are compressed
to ¼ inch and vacuumed sealed on each side. The vacuumed sealed foam pads are contained inside of
a durable film pouch with an oversize closure flap that contains a pressure sensitive adhesive.

The Xpander Pak Shipper was the original product that perfected the use of fully flexible foam into an
easy to use shipping system. The product was based upon technology that compressed fully flexible foam to
¼ inch vacuum-sealed pouches; the pouches are inserted and sealed in a durable shipping pouch.

The result is an integrated shipping pouch the was a cost effective shipping alternative to small
corrugated boxes, styrene coolers and shipping envelopes that required additional packaging materials.
The compressed foam allowed easy insertion of the product into the pouch and increased the number of
products that could be packaged in a day.
