Expander Pak's Green Commitment
International Foam Packaging is committed to meeting your packaging needs
through environmentally responsable engineered packaging solutions.
This commitment is based on four principles:
- OZONE FRIENDLY
No Haloalkane Carbon Compounds (CFC's, HCFC's, etc.) are used in the manufacture of EXPANDER PAK™
shipping systems.
- RECYCLABILITY
XPANDER PAK™ cushioning materials are recycleble, approximately 300,000,000 tons of this material is recycled annually.
XPANDER PAK™ materials are inert:, thus, eliminating the potential for contamination of the air or groundwater.
XPANDER PAK™ encourages the efficient recycling of plastic produsts.
- REUSABILITY
XPANDER PAK™ can be specifically designed for reuse by switching to to nonpermanent closure tape, by utilizing a double closure tape configuration with perferated tear on the flap, or by simply using a typical sealing tape to secure the open end of the envelope for subsequent distribution.
- SOURCE REDUCTION
XPANDER PAK™ continues to research ideas to maintain product performance while decreasing product weight and volume.
The best solution to the solid waste crisis is to reduce the amount of material that requires disposal.
